ABOUT
Multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Andrew Marsh (“Dr. Mellow”) is currently based in Jupiter, FL but has cast musical spells in multiple states. His original material blends acoustic storytelling with psychedelic rock: Taylor Swift mixed with Metallica merged with Phish. The songs he writes for guitar, voice, violin, and ukulele are rooted in adventure and deep connections to nature, family, and friends across the country. He finds inspiration in hikes, dreams, and dystopian science fiction, among other places.
Dr. Mellow started performing solo in 2021 after more than a decade playing and recording with a jam band (SuperVision / SuperVision Reunion), theatrical funk troupe (The Frogman Experience), and jazz duo (The Mellow Martians). More recently he formed half of the interstellar rock duo Modern Odyssey, and currently performs with a rotating full-band lineup as “Dr. Mellow & Friends”.
